Ergonomics (OWAS)

The human ergonomics analysis can be integrated to AJ-Consultants’ products. “OWAS” Work position Analysis System is the basis of the analysis.  In the OWAS the position of a human person’s legs, hands and back shall be analysed. The analysis evaluates the physical strength requirement of the work and pinpoints the work phases, where the ergonomics has to be improved.

Observations and manual calculations take a lot of time, but when the SWD/SSD engineer clicks the right work position button at each standard data element, the results will be accurate and available in a few minutes.

The Ergonomics Analysis can also be linked to AJC’s Time Study Program. AJC has gotten many good results using the OWAS with Computerized Time Study. The best references are in metal engineering and hotel cleaning.
